Sarigim King´s Kids Jerusalem is a non- profit organization, which is part of King´s Kids Israel ministry. "Sarigim" is the Hebrew word for "branches", and relates to the verse from John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches".
Our aim is to provide a safe haven where believing children and youth can come together and connect regardless of their backgrounds, to develope their talents, and learn and practice biblical values such as forgiveness, reconciliation and love.
The group is located in Jerusalem, and includes some 70 children, youth and young adults ages
4 -21. We meet on a weekly basis divided according to age groups.
From a young age, children and youth in Israel are facing numerous challenges in their everyday lives, often connected with the political and cultural
conflicts in the land. Our activities are intentionally focused toward equipping them to face the various issues of life as they mature.
We do so by offering a shelter, a home, where youth can develope friendships with peers, bringing difficult questions for counsel and prayer, and meet people they do not necessarily encounter in their every day lives.
We impart values through creative arts and crafts, dance, drama and music, encouraging the youngsters to use their talents to bless others.
In addition, we incorporate activities designed to help the less fortunate in our community, and teach our kids and youth to serve with a humble heart.
Our hope is to raise a new generation in Israel, which contributes to peace among our neighbors, and who will work passionately towards that goal.
